This armband rocks! I love that it is super easy to use and that I can take pictures without taking my phone out of the armband! Lots of room to fit any size arm! (Posted on 1/30/14)

I recently took my Amphibx Armband out for the real test - stand up paddleboarding on a very choppy day. With the wind and wave combo, I ended up in the water few more times than I wanted to, but it was awesome to have my iPhone there to document the adventure and take pictures on the lake. Popped my phone in, closed the case and done! It was awesome to be in the water but know I could bring my phone and it would be safe and secure. Ended up with some great pictures from the day too! 4. Great Design, But… Review by Art

Overall, I do like this case for the sense of security it gives for taking such an expensive device (iPhone 4) on outings. I needed to add the larger armband because I weightlift as part of my training, but where I have real issue is with the material of the case. The clear vinyl got cloudy for some unknown reason and cannot be cleared up. It's an aesthetic problem, as the case is still waterproof, etc., but using my iPhone has become unnecessarily difficult due to the cloudiness.

All other aspects of the case are excellent; the fit, the sound, the security of the headphones, and waterproofing. I'd recommend it, with reservations. (Posted on 7/22/13)

  5. Case is Great BUT Review by Michael

The connection inside that plugs into your iPhone had to have constant pressure applied or it wouldn't play through both sides of my surge headphones. Now, I did plug my headphones into the the iPhone directly and its perfect so my issue is with that connector inside.
This is the first issue I've had with H20 Audio products, trust me I own a lot of them and love them all. Just torqued I purchased a bad armband and I'm out $59. (Posted on 6/30/13)

Awesome case, with great construction! My smartphone fits just right inside. It has plenty of room to fit almost all smartphones on the market! The case is lightweight, and the strap is comfortable around the arm! You will not be disappointed with this case! (Posted on 6/18/13)

  7. Awesome Case Review by Julie

I used this case last time I went for a swim in the lake. Because I had on a wet suit I skipped the arm band and just zipped it up inside my suit. This was my first experience swimming with music and I loved it. My iPhone stayed nice and dry. I had no trouble getting it in and out of the case. It was easy to queue up my music once it was inside the case. I had a little trouble with the Sportwrap headphones but it was just a matter of adjusting my swim cap until they were comfortable. I can't wait to get back to the lake and try out one of my apps to track my time and distance. (Posted on 4/24/13)

  8. Solid construction but challenging to use Review by Holly
    Overall Rating

I needed an armband for running that wouldn't break after six months (a problem I've had with $25-$30 armbands). Even though this is pricey, after several months of using it, I think it will hold up just fine. It's solidly built. The touchscreen works well and the armband is comfortable, although I can see why men who have reviewed this would think it's too small. It's perfect for a woman. I don't swim with this so the waterproof aspect wasn't important to me, but I will say after running 8 miles today in the rain, it was nice not too worry about my iPhone getting wet. It was dry as a whistle when I took it out. Now let's talk about the taking it out part, because it's my only complaint. The specs say it fits an iPhone 5 but it's VERY tight. That makes getting it in and out challenging, and sometimes frustrating. As another review pointed out, the plastic touch screen can stick to your phone, but I've figured out a way to insert the phone to leave a space between it and the plastic screen before shutting the case. That seems to help it from sticking. The lid is really hard to open once you snap it completely shut. Again frustratingly so when I've tried to get it open after a run. Since I don't need it to be waterproof, I've just stopped snapping it completely shut and that's worked fine. All in all, I think this is a good case. I would probably buy it again, frustrations and all. Just know that all the reviews on here are pretty accurate and decide if you can live with the negatives that were pointed out. 9. Too difficult to insert or remove iPhone Review by Stephen
    Overall Rating

I'm sure the case is waterproof enough, and it's reasonably comfortable on the arm. The problem, though, is that it's damn near impossible to insert my iPhone 4 into, or remove the phone out of, the case. The vinyl of the pouch sticks like glue to the iPhone, making insertion or removal one of the most frustrating experiences of my day. (Posted on 9/11/12)

I am an outrigger paddler in SoCal. Armband works great, so much better to listen to my favorite tunes while working out. Have had other waterproof systems over the years, but this is the best one that I have found yet. (Posted on 1/17/12)

  11. Hard to fit - armband small Review by Gadgetqueen
    Overall Rating

The size of the case is meant to hold the iphone alone or with a very thin protective cover. I bought the LIFEPROOF waterproof case and intended to put it inside the RADTECH armband case - to ensure nothing could harm the phone.

I found a couple of issues - the opening is small - I was able to squeeze the already protected phone into it but it wasn't easy. The arm band to be tight on men

Unfortunately the two companies don't have compatible speaker attachments - LIFEPROOF uses a screw in attachment and at the end, the RADTECH speaker plus in. No problem- except there is not enough height in the pouch.

I will most likely use the armband for convenience - need both hands, not as a waterproof case. (Posted on 1/2/12)

  13. Great but too small Review by Herald
    Overall Rating

I have an HTC Rezound, and admittedly, it's a pretty big device. If the armband was just 1/4 inch taller, I'd have no complaints whatsoever, but it's very difficult to get my phone into the armband with the internal audio jack plugged into the phone. I'd seriously recommend h2o Audio to consider making a larger profile Fit armband. I don't want to damage my $600 phone, and I don't want to break the case or snap off the headphone jack. but it's very difficult to get into the holster.

As for the armband itself, yes, it's fabulous. It is solidly constructed, and even with me pushing and prying to get my phone in and out of the holster, it hasn't torn or snapped anywhere. The holster is indeed very watertight. I've tested it out doing some laps at the pool, and it works very well.

I primarily bought this armband because every other armband on the market is too small. I'm large (fat not muscle) and it's hard to get other armbands on my arm without my arm going numb. With h20 Audio's product, I just got the larger armband, and I'm finally exercising in comfort! Now, if only the fit case were larger!! (Posted on 12/20/11)

As my other post for the waterproof headset, this is my first waterproof armband. As I mentioned before, I'm using this for running. I have an HTC Evo & it fits perfectly. Quality seems great & hasn't moved even once while working out / training. The see through front makes it really easy to navigate on the phone as well. I run with the app RunKeeper & it's really like you're not using any armband at all. Feels light weight & comfortable. Just can't wait to get it out in the water while kayaking! (Posted on 6/30/11)

I live in SC, it is HOT here, so I was in the market for a product that I could use in the pool and on my jetski. H2O Audio are very knowledgeable, the armband came to me quickly and it works great! I love it! (Posted on 6/7/11)
